Lee Westaway - Yard Manager
Growing up in Devon, Lee has been riding and working with horses all his life. He completed an apprenticeship in equine care after leaving school, and has continued to work with horses ever since as a stud groom and in yard management. He has had success in showing - so knows how to turn out our girls and boys smartly for competitions!
Lee joined AP Equestrian in April of 2022, he is responsible for the overall day to day care of all our horses on site.
Bethany Wilshire - Full time Groom
Beth has been working at AP Equestrian since 2018, and successfully completed her level 3 in Horse Management whilst working with us. Beth is a talented rider and a experienced member of the team who assists Lee with the yard managment.
Elly Crowford - Apprentice Groom
Elly joined the team in 2021 working as an apprentice in Equine Care. She successfully completed the first part of this qualification in September 2022 and is currently working towards her level 3 .
Bonnie Jefferies - Apprentice Groom
Bonnie grew up riding horses and after finishing school decided to embark on a career in the Equestrian Industry. She started her apprenticeship at AP Equestrian in 2022.
Sibylla Spannagel- International Intern
AP Equestrian were happy to welcome Sibylla from Germany. She has taken the opportunity to come to the UK and study the dressage and equine industry in this country. A keen horse rider she joined the team in August 2022

Ian Bell - Business Manager / Owner
Ian is Alice's partner and as well as filling the office role, spends most of his time fixing the things horses break.
